faded paint
hey my new 03 out lander has some very faded paint on the hood and hatch, any ideas on how to bring the shine and colour back?

the cars red and my paint has faded almost to pink from the sun, i wonder if a good buffing would bring it back or if i might need to wet sand it?

Depends on the paint condition. You can try polishing a small part to see the result. Or wet sand than polish it to finish.

Probably need to sand down and have it clearcoated again. Once it gets too far, thwere is no bringing faded paint back.

Just be careful when sanding down the paint. Better have it done by a pro.

use a DA machine polisher with medium cut pads and polishing compound. just do 2-3 pass.
