Default Crankshaft Damper Pulley question

Ok, here is my problem, my g/f has a 95 eclipse turbo, gst not the gsx, well she threw her accessory drive belts, well in the process of putting the belts back on I noticed that the crankshaft damper pulley is rocking from side to side, is this caused by a possible spun bearing inside the crank, or basically is her engine gone or is there hope for an easy repair
Thanks
LS

She throw the timing belt? did the walking crank cause her to throw the belts?

Default RE: Crankshaft Damper Pulley question

I am not sure that the crank walked, however the pulley is loose, I can move it back and forth with my hand, as in not around but vertically, now how this connects is it has a bolt that goes through thecenter of the pulley and then is supposed to be removed with a gear puller, in other words, there should be no play in this at all, but there is, and this is what caused the belts to jump, as far as the timing belt goes, I do not know if it threw that, so far just the accessory belts went, the alternator, powersteering etc...
Thanks
LS
