I test drove a 1992 mitsubishi cube van today,auto transmission, it does not go into overdrive. Im not sure where to start to see if it is worth buying and fixing. I would invest as much as $1000 into the repair. everything else sounds and feels good in the transmission. The shift stick also has a overdrive button on it. </P>

overdrive cluthpack burnt ....not that bad of a job check your local trans shop also ask the dealer compare prices then go to your local shop with the parts in hand
