My wife's 2000 Montero is ready for new tires. It still has the stock 265-70R15. We've definitely gotten our money's worth from these babies (75,000 miles). I am searching for some good replacements.
99% of driving is on the highway or in town.
I have looked at the Pirelli Scorpion, Michelin, Goodrich, Goodyear, and really would just like some feedback from others.

I have the same tires...and I highly recommend it. The way I see it, Kumho is Michelin quality at a fraction of the cost. Here are a few others I'd definately recommend, all with excellent reviews on tirerack.com:
o Sumitomo HTR Sport A/T
o Toyo Open Country A/T
o Yokohama Geolandar HT G031
o Yokohama Geolandar HT G039
o Yokohama Geolandar HT-S G051
o Yokohama Geolandar A/T
o Yokohama Geolandar A/T+II
Hope this helps...I'll be replacing my tires again pretty soon, I'm thinking Kumho again or one of those Yokohama Geolandars. The Geolandar HT G031 was OEM with my truck and I got very decent mileage out of those tires. :)
