I thought there was supposed to be an AUX input for MP3 players in my 06 Raider XLS. Anyone know where it is if it does exist?

Anyone know where it is if it does exist? mitsupartsman.com 11-18-2008, 07:36 PM is there not a one on the radio face plate? looks like a headphone jack. 60cdnstd 11-18-2008, 08:17 PM Nope. Thats what I was looking for. My gf has that on her Rogue. I have the 6 disc/sat radio with alpine speakers. But no visible AUX input. I read in specs online that it should have it. mitsupartsman.com 11-18-2008, 08:45 PM i can research this more when i get to work in the morning but it looks like the mp3 capability refers to reading mp3 files located on cd's,not nessessarily connecting a mp3 player. 60cdnstd 11-19-2008, 04:25 AM ORIGINAL: mitsupartsman.com i can research this more when i get to work in the morning but it looks like the mp3 capability refers to reading mp3 files located on cd's,not nessessarily connecting a mp3 player. I understand about the mp3 cd's. But I have seen AUX input listed in online spec sheets. Lil Evo 11-19-2008, 09:24 PM Usual locations on factory auxillary inputs are in or above glove boxes and center consoles. Look in the owners manual mitsupartsman.com 11-20-2008, 08:37 AM when you push (or mash as we say it here in the south) the mode button can you access the aux option on your stereo? RMUDBUGS 12-12-2008, 11:08 PM Only the single disc radio had the AUX jack. The XLS has a 6 disc radio with no AUX jack. You can get a cable for an ipod from Dodge that connects to the back of the radio but it's like $250 or something. |
