I designed this one for my srt-4 and now it is being mass produced and sold...</P><edited><editID>Ray00</editID><editDate>37966.7450231481</editDate></edited>
briansrt 12-12-2003, 04:39 PM The setup on your SRT-4 looks hot...I actually have a Dakota R/T, that's where the name stems from..I have the same feelings regarding lack of power after I get out of my Dakota and into the Outlander...but to get over 20mpg is really sweet..Keep me posted on the intake, I'll check this thread frequently...</P>
Ray00 12-14-2003, 05:12 PM i hear you i get about 15 mpg on the srt-4, i have lots of mods though..</P>
</P>
thats why i like the outlander, plus in the snow we recently had here in philly, it handled well</P>
briansrt 12-15-2003, 04:56 PM Yeah, it handles great...the snow in So-Cal is non-existent, butgoing up and down the twists and turns on some hills is really great, and the sportronic is awesome..
pattonme 01-23-2004, 02:42 AM When it's 15degF out I don't worry about cold-air intakes. I did rip everything forward of the air cleaner off though. Now she breathes rather better if a bit noiser on intake honk at big throttle openings.
I really wish we had a manual tranny option.
Ray00 01-23-2004, 11:42 AM see with a cold air you will only hear a hiss at wot.. iam making these at our facilities. my boss thinks iam crazy.</P>

2003lancer 02-10-2004, 09:54 PM nice work ray. the 02-03 lancer intakes should fit. i have an 03 lancer and my significant other has a 03 outlander, i'll try to see if they are interchangable. motor looks identicle.
outie 02-23-2004, 10:52 PM Hows theCAI coming along? Do you have a price yet or pictures? I wouldbe intrested in one when they are ready. That unit you made for the srt looks slick and the outlander needs something todress up the engine compartment.
knight 06-11-2004, 02:10 AM im interested in a cai for my outlander, the only intake i found is the weapon-r. but email me at knight_ryder206@comcast.net when you get your prototype finish and has a price
ray@ipp 06-25-2004, 01:59 PM should be ready in a couple of days. i made a true cold air but there was too much modifications needed to go into the fender.
ray@ipp 06-25-2004, 02:01 PM by the way im ray00 i changed names
knight 06-26-2004, 09:15 PM what kind of modification to the fender?
Ray00 06-27-2004, 10:30 AM inside i had to cut a hole to go into the fender. too much work
