Go to a couple different ones and see what they give you for a price. Its hard to tell you the best place, because every area has different pricing, also we dont know whats around you. eclipseRS21 02-14-2006, 12:29 AM reason why i ask is beacuse i dont kno if any local shop would lower it also? NESpeed 02-14-2006, 12:32 AM If you have the parts they should install them with out a problem. If a shop won't, another will, its still money in their pocket. clipse_05 02-21-2006, 08:42 PM Most shops will install loweriing springs and shocks if you ask them, it really isnt any extra labor to install aftermarket springs/shocks than it is stock ones. TheEngineer 03-01-2006, 11:29 AM yea most shops definetly will install them, there are always those few that arn't allowed to because of "liability" eclipse1999 07-16-2006, 07:37 PM mechanic quote me 200 labor to change all 4 springs, is that normal? TheEngineer 07-17-2006, 01:18 PM shocks and springs. Thats a pretty normal price. I think i paid something like 180 for all four struts/shocks TX97GST 07-20-2006, 07:06 AM I am not all that mechanically inclined and I did mine myself in a little under 5 hrs. Went to Autozone rented a spring compressor and did two wheels at a time. slvr_eclipse 08-17-2006, 11:18 PM Yea, Its super easy to do just the hard part is finding a reliable spring compressor. I've thought about making my own because they are really a simply design. 98eclpsrider 08-18-2006, 12:02 AM For putting in all four stuts and springs you'll need to go to a shop unless you have the mech to align your front. you could do the backs but the fronts you'll need to realign. |
