Ive got a stock 420A with headers/exhaust and an itake, do you think i could beat a Integra GSR? We are ganna race soon.

Ive seen GSR teggys rund 14.8s with barley any modds and 420As run like 16flats with tons of N\A mods

Well depending on the year of the GSR is they ran about a average of 15.6 stock in the quarter. You might loose.......it might come down to who can drive better.

If you can launch and bang gears for your mother, and the other driver sucks ALOT, like stalls off the line and misses 2 gears, you may win by a foot or two, if not your going to lose.

AND THE WINNER IS ME!!!. About one of my best launches off the line and he got raped. Scared the crap out of me though because its the first car ive heard over mine and i heard it over mine big time! His car sounded nasty as ****. He was at my back bumper at th end of the race. He had a full exhaust/headers and an intake on it. Also had it lowered with a body kit. He ended up trying to do some kind of 180 at the end of it and totaly f'ed that up. He smacked his front bumper in to a curb trying to do it and cracked it LOL. My friend erik(the new member on here) viewed this and said he was about to kick the guys ass because when doing it he almost went in to my car. But all and all it was good for me. Beat him and he f'ed his car up in anger. I think it had a lot to do with my driving and his. His launch wasnt great but he didnt exactly mess up. He didnt miss any gears or anything. Ive been known to be a hell of a manual driver so i guess thats why i won. My reaction time at the track was .02 and hung around that time. Also why i probably made a 10 flat at the drag strip with my car. Im sure that contributed to my clutch going out and shreading to complete crap(Not recently but a little while ago.)

Im very Shocked... I had a GSR Keep right a long with my Friends GSX... Im not sure what he had in it, but it was close from a roll...

WOW... a 420a beating a gsr. Are you sure this is really a gsr or is it a regular integra with a gsr badge just to look cool.:D

You guys have absolutely no faith. It was a GSR because YES i do know what one is. No it didnt have a sticker slaped on the side. Ive beaten some good cars in my days.

well if its a real GSR it should be a hell of alot faster than any N\A eclipse. They hang right with the V6 eclipses and the V6 is alot faster than an RS (speaking from experience)

I beat my friends GSR that was dynoed at a 220 horsepower only with the help a a 50 horse shot of nitrous. Those cars are fast and now that he a a better built motor I am not going to try it again. I have a 97 rs with MSD coil pack, wires, cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust.

after reading this I just had to post. I have my 95 Eclipse RS and my son and I were out dickin around one day and we were timing the 1/4. We did this SEVERAL times and I came out consistant with high 10's. Wish I knew why but I dont. I havent had the car long, but I do know when I bought this car the previous owner said it had 'alot done to it'. Wish I knew what. I do remember her saying it has a cat-back on it. Also we did the 0-60 and my son just reminded me we were around 5 seconds. I swear one day Ill make a video cause someone needs to see this. Also before she crashed it into a deer (like 3000 miles prior to me buying it) she had the engine rebuilt, said she had like $2500 in that.

NO 420a is running high 10s come on now get realistic.

My EVO makes much much much more power probably 2 or 3 times more HP to the ground and it only will run a 12.7ish with a 0-60 of low 3 secondes. Not even a heavily modded 420a is gonna run 10s unless it has a massive turbo pumping like 25 PSI

then I dont know what to say. All I know is we sectioned off 1/4 mile and stopwatched it. Did that several times. I even went back with my truck to make sure the 1/4 mile distance was right and it was. Is this possibly something Im doing wrong? I would really like to know.

Human error. that is like setting the timer and watching the odo. a 420a with any mods will only run 16s if it is lucky

And your obviously doing some part of it wrong weather it be timeing on pressing the stop watch or the distance your 1/4 was marked as. I could see that in 1/8 miles maybe ya know. either way the car will only run a 16.5ish 1/4 mile time at a track where almost all the time it is pretty dead on

im not trying to be mean but your full of s&*% ... ive been in and out of both of these cars, if it was a gsr and he shifted perfect like you said he would of took you with a ? in my mind.. not trying to dis eclipse's but theres no way
