Default CB install

Hello all. I have an 02 limited and was wondering if so be who has a 3rd gen knows a good spot to install a CB perminatly.

I have an after market CD player and its small but there is no room in the dash and the shifter makes installing something in the lower part very hard.

I recently got a uniden bearcat 880 and need to find a good spot to install it.
Any tips?

Thanks

Jp

Well I ended up getting riding the bear cat and getting a uniden.

I decided to take the center cubby below the CD player and remove it and it looked like it would have fit the bear cat just fine oh well a little to late.

Anyhow back to the CB. I decided to keep the cubby thing so I cut the back otta it and slipped my CB into it. It was a little lose and slipped around a bit so I decided instead of drilling it in and risking drilling into a wire I used industry strength Velcro it worked great. I then took electrical tape and put it over the back of the cubby box so nothing will slip behind it.

All in all I am very pleased with the results.

I took pictures and will post them later.
