Hi I have a 2004 mitsubishi montero limited 3.8l and I wanted to take the normal display which shows the time and compass and air conditioning and I wanted to install a touch screen in its place that would show similar functions. I found a mitsubishi galant/endeavor screen on ebay that said it was for galants 09-12 and endeavors 2003-current and has the number 8750A185 on the back. I installed it and everything fit perfect. It even has mpg and trip calculator and all that good stuff. The problem is its not registering. None of the the trips are showing up and the air conditioning isnt showing up either. It has a button where you can turn the air conditioning display on but its greyed out. The two plugs from the original display fit right in to the back of the new one. The new one had 2 extra plugs, 1 was the circular one I assume is for the Navigation CD player and another is a square 10 pin connector that I couldnt find anything on but was guessing was for the gps antenna (but could be wrong) Please help me out I am trying to get this working. i really hope I didnt waste my money and time.
