Synthetic (M1 or Pennzoil Plat) 0 20 or 5 20..every 6 months since I hit the time limit before mileage (about 6K miles when I change).

Filter I use Purolator, Walmart Supertech (very good filter for the $), or I got a great deal on a M1 filter this time.

I have a 2007 Spyder GT with 35,000km on it. I was thinking of switching to Synthetic. Will switching to synthetic void the warranty? I am leaning to Mobil 1. What grade should I use? It can get pretty hot here in Toronto's summer.
Thanks.

For my own two cent's worth here. In all most every engine that I have had to tear down past the intake on that ran "Mobil" oils (Not Synthetic Oil) there was so much ash & trash build up inside those engines it was almost hard to believe! And the Castrol engines I've worked on past the intakes, that had only been run on Castrol again talking (non - Synthetic Oil) was practically spotless inside! And just looking at there dip sticks you could not see any differences looking at oil on them.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I myself will not use "Mobil Oil" in my vehicles! The Castrol Oils seem to not build up these deposits inside the engines that I have seen. All of these engines were 4,6,& 8 cylinder engines. I've talked about this now for the last 30 years.. It may be "Mobil Oils are just fine also." This has just been my experiences with "Mobil Oil. Now one other thing Most of the engines that I worked on the used Castrol oil was 20W 50 also! And had been in use in Florida, not in very cold climate...

Everyone knows you should use synthetic if you don't want build up.

If you're a cheap ****, use conventional and don't cry when you spin a bearing from lack of lubrication.

Arrow Nothing but AMSOIL

I love how people swear Mobil 1 is the best. That is like saying Mcdonalds food is the best. You have been brain washed by the media my friends.
