Nice!! Looks simple enough and would like to try it. However, would like to know the performance advantage/benefit of using the Cusco vs the OEM strut bar. Also, how much from japan parts? Thanks.
CUSCO is a name of good reputation, so I really believe that CUSCO is a product of good quality and with better construction than OEM strut bar; I don't know about advantages or disadvantages, sorry. Here link:
Sorry.. Jsrd.. been busy.. haha.. the CUSCO bar is better than OEM strut bar. Cusco bar makes the turn stiffer and turning wise better. You can feel the difference once you installed it. The turn on the steering wheel will be a little stiffer and when you change lanes you can tell. Well worth the price. CUSCO is 100% made in Japan. I only buy things that are Made in Japan.. haha.. it's what you pay for.
My source of purchase: http://www.napsusa.com yuki@napsusa.com (He is awesome, let him Silver Outlander sent you guys...) I'm the only one that order from him... as far as I know..
jsrd, actually the headliner of the sunroof does not have the sunglass hole prepared, but go take off the map light and put your hand in, see if that piece of metal has a hole prepared for you. If yes, then you can try to cut the hole of the headliner and install the sunglass holder.
