Default Can I Drive a Few Miles Slowly Without any Rear Suspension

Meaning that I can't manage to get my MacPherson struts back on the arm (spindle?) on my 2002 Galant.
I don't know if the wheels are going to sink into the wheel wells if I try to put tires on a car with the struts just hanging from the mount holes.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Put a jack under the rotor.

Next time, don't pick up a wrench if you don't know what you're doing.
