Default 1993 Base Eclipse

Hey all. I'm extremely new to Mitsubishi's, and I just bought a 1993 1.8L..Well the idiot who owned it before me sold the Mass Air Flow Sensor...but for the life of me can't find any used..Also, I'm noticing my clutch will randomly just go slack and I have to pump it once..Also I'm noticing oil on the engine block and I'm not incredibly sure what it is. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

there are plenty of junk yards with this car that would have a MAF sensor that im sure you could use. And as far as the oil its kinda hard for us to tell you unless you have a specific area. Your actually better off just cleaning the area where the oil is with a degreser and then trying to trace where it is comming from. Most of the time its a valve cover gasket. But like i said its tough for us to say.

And for the clutch it sounds like the lines are improperly bled. Search online for how to bleed the clutch system and try that. If you still have problems then it may be that you have a small leak somewhere that is letting air into the lines or that the master cylinder is starting to go. But i would put my money right now on the system just having air in it from not being bled
