Default 1993 3kgt base bought for $700 - WHAT FIRST!

Hello,

So I just bought a 1993 3000gt base model for $700. Runs smooth, shifts well,. etc, ect. However, The speedometer odometer are broken. Previous owner CLAIMS it broke 4 months ago. its at 135,xxx miles. the tach and gas gauge still work.

I owned a 91 vr-4 for about 2 months 7 years back before I sold and got a cadillac xlr. I sold that last year. it was fun.

anyway, I just got the 1993 for fun and it was really cheap. I'm still very unfamiliar with 3000gt's.

What should I do first, especially since I dont know the actual miles? I'm assuming it has 180k plus miles just to be safe.

thanks in advance for your advice!!
