He said the gasket is leaking cause the downpipe is broke, so its pushing the oil out...The downpipe is on warranty, so I think i might buy this car if I can get 2 G

 

1gen motor has 195 hp and 2gen has 215hp. 1gen motor has better heads and bigger turbo. Therefore means more potential bolt on power. 1gen eclipse is lighter, and after May 1991 rear axles got beefed up. Drag racers prefer 4 bolt rear axle. Also after May 1992 eclipse got dual piston calipers, lighter crank and rods, and a block strengthening girdle connecting the main bearng caps. Also the transmissions on both turbo models got stronger.

 

that makes no sence at all. No oil passes threw the downpipe.
