Default 91 eclipse engine fans not turning on?

whats up guys? i own a 91 eclipse 1.8 liter , today coming home from work noticed my engine was warming up a little (very unusual) made it home with no problems but noticed the engine fan is not turning on to cool down the radiator, i've opened the hood before and always see fan running every once in a while but not today, can anyone help me out, tell me what to do, i'd really appreciate it, thanks.

your antifreeze level may be low and where do you live? because up in ohio its been 35-40 degrees outside so my fan hasnt been on in a few weeks because the cold weather is doing enough so that the fan doesnt have to come on.

The weather probably does keep it a lot cool, but if you want to, check the connections to the fan because one of my room mates had it somehow get full of gunk so it wasn't getting a good connection, no idea how either it just happened one day.

well when i drove home the temp. kept going over the half way mark , when i would stop at light the temp would rise not boil but get close, it has never done that weve had colder days here in denver and the fans had seemed to run fine, not today.

There's a fan fuse under the hood, check it!...It's not a real cheapy for a fuse to replace but I had one on my old Spyder burn out on me and the fans stopped running and the temp gauge climbed..I replaced it and it was good as new...try that

i was noticing there are two different fuses for the fans, one connected to the red battery wire and one in the fuse block, actually the one on the fuse block is a "relay" can you replace relays if so how do you know if it is bad, also i was checkin out the one on the battery cable, switched it out still no go, i did notice that when i turned on the air conditioner the fan does run, just wont run by itself even when the engine starts to warm up, just ran it about an hour ago and still the engine is running warmer than usual?

would the thermostat maybe be a cause why the fans would not start? i did change the thermostat about 8-9 months ago.

Mine was the "relay" in the fuse box that went out..a guy at my buddy's body shop got to pokin around and found it was burnt..I couldn't tell though..but I guess he had a trained eye.
