91 eclipse timing belt broke please help

91 eclipse turbo 2.0 the timing belt broke when pulling out of my driveway. do i need to pull head off to check for bent valves or does this motor not bend the valves when it bakes?

they might have just tapped them and not have any damage. put a new belt o and do a compression test and see what happens.

I would check the timing and if its off, pull the head and check for bent valves. Your pistons should be fine.
