so your saying its a 93 then? because if it is, then yes it has a 7-bolt in it.

 

its a 1g motor, the paper says 95, i thought 95 was a 2g engine, this one has the balance shaft, adjustable cam sensor, looks identical to the pics ive seen of 1g heads, so its gotta be, and honestly i feel like a dip**** when ppl say 6 bolt or 7 bolt what bolt count are you referring to?

but yes the car is a 93

 

Yup, that's a 1g motor alright. Here's one way to tell. The other way is to count the bolts on the flywheel.
People referrence the 6 or 7 bolt when talking about crankwalk. The 6 bolt block is less prone to crankwalk.

 

thats what i thought but i wasnt sure, this oil pump when i turn it with a drill rattles LOUD, probly not a good sign[:'(]
i think im just gonna quit wasting my time & get another motor to put in this car

 

if he counts the bolts on the flywheel hes gonna get 7 because they made the 7-bolt from 1993-1999. So even if they put the 95 engine in there, its still the same as the one that came stock in the 1993.

 

I thought the OP stated that this 1G was from 91?
I got confused with the whole 95 paperwork thing too, but....meh, I don't know, lol.

 

he originally did state 91, then he corrected it to be 92, then he corrected his correction saying it was a 93. So needless to say this has been a confusing thread to follow, haha

 

i confuse myself doin that sometimes... its a 93 m/y car, there is a paper in it from 2001, with the correct VIN that has warranty information, and labor, all that crap for putting in a "95" JDM engine, its either a typo or someone pulled that 95 motor out and put a 1g back in it, i drink too much coffee & jump on the computer asking a million questions then i figure it out before anyone replies half the time, lol
this car sat for over a year in a barn,the guy i got it from drove it twice aftr he bought it then the timing belt mess happaned , i dont hear the fuel pump run when i turn the key on or bump the starter but i havent got far enough to check all the fuses yet, it was cheap & its well worth piecing back together
if anyone has any spare parts for a better deal than a junk yard wants for worn out junk i have a list of stuff i need to find for it yet

well its possible that it has a 95 block in it. So your saying you dont know whats wrong with it. Does it hold compression?

 

what kind of stuff you looking for?
