im painting it
2-3 weeks to block it down and make it flat, im not painting a wavy car, its gonna be 100% sraight, this aint no macco job.
plus i havent had much help with it so its taking a while by myself.
its not as simple a scuff it and shoot it. i have probly 15 hours alone in just the fenders.
gotta hand block the whole car, re prime it, block it again, then if its good paint it., all the plastic had peeling clear coat, the only way to do plastic right is wet sand it with 400 grit by hand untill the clear is gone so it dont end up wavy or with feather marks in it.that all gets theprimer & sanded too. halfthe car is plastic
- a real paint job takes time
were doing it as good as you would a show car or better. its alot of work but will be worth it when i have the nicest looking 93 around and nobody will hav anything bad to say about the body work.
