Default 94 eclipse trans over heating

ok here is my story i got this eclipse about 2 years ago pretty much rebuilt the engine not done yet still have extra to do but here is the problem i had the trans flushed and new everything like filter and fluid so i was able to drive it for about 2 weeks and then the trans started to overheat i know it is the trans cause i pop the hood and there is the smoke so my question is what could possibly cause this pretty much new stuff all through it i was thinking the cooling lines for the trans possibly clogged any suggestions??

have you checked the coolant level, and when was the last time you flushed the coolant. Like you said i would also check the transmission cooling lines. They are usually metal and i have seen where sometimes people do work on a car and actually hit the line and crimp it

Exactly where is the smoke coming from? Does the trans fluid smell burnt?

yes the trans fluid does smell burnt and i have to change it everytime i take a trip on the highway and it is starting to get costly and the smoke is coming from somewhere on the trans i want to say on or near the coolant lines which is why i am thinking them

Do you see any fluid leaking onto the exhaust? Is the trans original or has it been rebuilt recently?

as far as i know it is original trans and no i dont see fluuid hitting exhaust you know how the lines come right off the top of the trans i can see where it seem to be pushing some fluid out near or around those threads

but as i mentioned in the first post i had the trans flushed and new filter and fluid
