hello everyone, newbie sn5bah here. bought a '91 eclipse gs that had been parked for a year because the fuel pump was bad. bought new fuel pump, walbro. removed old fuel pump and smelled all of the varnish from the old gas in the tank and noticed a whole bunch of crud in there. What can I use to clean out the tank or do I have to buy another one?

I would buy another one... theyre cheap, and if its that bad, its worth replacing.

Thanx, for the info, found two a local yards. Will take a look at both and go from there.

most radiator shops will clean and line a gas tank for a c-note
