ECU question, 92 turbo FWD
thanks to anyone with suggestions first off.
ok. i am a new owner to an eagle FWD Tsi. just purchased on monday. i bought it for a everyday car, while i pull the motor on my TT, and spend the rest of my life, in my garage...
my talon was worked on by the owner who did the valves,(what he exactely did and why, I'm unsure of)...
he put a computer in it from a NON turbo... so, i am looking for any recommendations of what to do...
leave it? replace?
it is an auto and has a huge hesitation at a stand still, when trying to accelerate. is that something that is related to ECU or something i need to look into further?
thanks...[&:]

RE: ECU question, 92 turbo FWD
I would definately say ti'll be related to the non turbo ECU. The whole fuel management is going to be off probably dangerously so due to different air consumption and fuel needs. I would say find a turbo ECU and swap them.
