Well the compression test basically told me that your head gasket is not the problem since you would not have even numbers accross the board like that if it were. So my only other thought is a vacuum leak of some sort. Maybe where you have your boost gauge hooked up or something..

But those compression #'s do seem a bit low. Keep in mind the service limit on a 1g turbo is 120psi. So if those #'s are correct you are dangerously close. Its not uncommon to see these old cars in the 135psi area. but you start getting below 125psi and you will start to have problems. So im not sure if its related to the issues youve been having as of late...maybe the black smoke would be a sign...but white smoke really isnt a sign of bad ring lands

This is his answer because he didn't thoroughly read the rest of the thread and the part that the OP stated that he didn't flush the cooling system of air bubbles from his fairly new rebuilt motor.

Ok i just got done retesting the compression with an open throttle and the dry compression test results were 130 120 120 130.
Wet test results were, 155 140 150 150. Does this tell me that my rings are shot?

Did a little more digging today and realized that my engine may have possibly been overheating because one of my vacumm hoses was stuck in the fan and also the lower intercooler hose was loose. I'm going to clean out my intercooler tonight and then check for shaft play on the turbo and put everything back together and see if shes running better.
