OK now another stupid question about these unrealistic movies... In the Opening race in 2f2f, Brain pulls up in his new car with **** spitting out the sides, what the hell is that?, and would any real street racer put a flame pack on the muffler system?

 

its a nitrous purge kit. very expensive. very stupid. purge out excess nitrous buildup to create a nice show... doesnt show up blue, however it does create a very nice look if you wanna waste all the nitrous you bought at... 9 bucks a gallon.

 

He had 3 tanks... one for purge... the other 2 for the engine. How is a purge kit expensive?

 

As for the eclipse on the fnf. I heard it was a RS fixed to look like a GSX or GS. Nothing but trim and flash. [&:]

 

to end it all - the FNF eclipse was an rs/gs build to represent a GSX... done, end of it

Purge kits do serve a purpose. They get the "cold" nitrous into the lines, and the "not so cold" nitrous out of the lines. If you already have a nitrous kit, theyre not expensive. It barely wastes any, and will make it more consistant when you actually use it.
The reason it showed up blue is because he had an l.e.d. light right on top of the hole it purges from, that activates when you purge your nitrous.

But i will agree that nitrous is just dumb.

They dont care how unrealistic it is. Do you realize at one point in the movie, paul walker upshifts 8 times in a row?

Somebody has too much time on their hands to even know that. I guess I was the same way complaining about why Spiderman did not have web cartridges in Spiderman 1 LOL
