Default first car 94 clipse! need advice

My first car is a 1994 eclipse 1.8L non tur.
i realy dont know anything about it. when i got the car most of the parts where in the back seats(slave cylinder, battery case with bolts and bar,and alternator. it has been sitting for bout 3 years, most of the interior is still intact but its still missing some easy to comeby parts.
It has 148k miles. i tried to start it today after putting on a new timeing belt. i probably should have syfoned the gas outta of it(its 3 years old).
i cant figure out why the clutch fluid isnt going down.
should i just attempt to invest in a 2.0L tur for it? plz help!!!
im tryin to keep it jdm all the way if u have advice throw it down i could use alll the help i can get
peace.

Its hard to read your post but does the car start? If not did you check spark, fuel and compression?

wat color is ur 1990 eclipse? do u have black seats not granny grey? how much for the hood and the latch?

i was thinking about that but me and a friend decieded that if i fixed my car all the way with some help that i would have more respect my car like i wouldnt treat it like another pile of **** driving down the road. I know its not the most lovable car and people look at it like it was too old or its a money pit, u know what i mean. like the car fits me. and i realy woulndt mine if i had the only 1994 full jdm eclipse in the dfw area

Hey I feel you dude... I bought a 1990 1.8L FWD Eclipse for 1000 bucks. I'm fixing it because I wanted pride in a car that was nothing and turning it to something... I now have a 2.0L Turbo in it and converting it to a front mount intercooler. I'll tell you this much, it's a lot of work and time. But like you said, you'll have a lot of pride in the car once it's done. Go to my Myspace and look at my pictures of it:

If it cranks slow check the battery, if thats ok check for spark, fuel and compression.

The 90 eclipse i'm parting out was red, the hood is in decent shape and the seats from that car are currently in my 90 awd tsi.
