Default fuel pump

ok, im trying to put my walboro 255 fuel pump in and my book says i have to unscrew the fuel line so i can get the old pump out, and ive tried for like an hour or just trying to gwt it out. is there anything that i can use to get it off or just break it and get a new piece?

try using one of those tube wrenches that we found in your uncle's tool box, the ones with one end that's almost closed off

i dont think he has one that small, and besides your coming over tomorrow so you can help me put the head back on, and well get the fuel pump on too.

did u get an adjustable fpr? if not that fuel pump is going to be too big and override your stock fpr, its going to give you inconsistent air/fuel ratios

I agree with Talon. But as for disconnecting the old pump you might want a pair of gator grips or robo grips might help. Also spray it thoroughly with penetrating oil let it soak in might help a bit too.

sorry, but whats an fpr? fuel pressure reglator? and how could i set it up correctely?

awww man...

The fuel pump pushes the fuel out of the pump and through the line to the fuel filter, after that its pushed through the fuel pressure regulator which has a diaphram that regulates the amount of fuel that can reach the injectors, then the extra fuel is shot down the return line back to the tank.

i know that but ive never heard that you had to have a different 1. where does the fpr go?
