fuel pump relay

Default fuel pump relay

can anybody tell me where the fuel pump relay is located on a 1992 Eclipse GS. fuel pump does not activate when the key is turned on but will run if hot wired. Thanks in advance

If noone beats me to it I'll check for you in my book tommorrow. But you can start by checking the relays under the hood should be by one of your strut towers and check in the fuse box. They should be labeled.

Ok found where the relay is. And you are going to love this. It is located on the passenger side (though it might be on the driver side can't tell by the pic in Haynes) of the center console inside the car. You will have to remole the side panel for the console to get access for it. If you engine is a 2.0 it will be a 10 pin connector. otherwise its a 8 pin connector. Recommend you get the Haynes Manual for your car. The Procedures for testing the relay are on pages 4-3 thru 4-5. Good luck

Me Either, It took some looking last night to find it. I thought it would have been on the firewall somewhere. Thats an engineer for ya. put it in a spot where you least likely to look LOL. BTW if you need to know what to look for once you pull the relay let my know and I can post the procedure here. Let me know what type engine though I don't feel like typing out both LOL.
