grinded gears........

so my lil brother tried to drive my car, without me knowing, and he grinded my Reverse Gear. and a couple others like 1st 2nd. i didnt know he was driving it either. so uhm now it feels hard to go into them. like i needa give it a lil force.......what can i do now? and how much? thanks

if he was doing it for long enough, he may have ruined some of your Dog Teeth. If he actually was just grinding and grinding away, you may have a potentially terrible transmission problem, and youll be taking your car to a tranny shop soon.

like he'll hear it n let go asap, n then try again n the same thing. idk how much is it for rebuild?

Ive never had to get a trans rebuilt or replace one so i wouldnt know.

if you can get a newer one or a brandnew one, what you could do is take the old one out and put the new one with all the knowledge of where stuff goes. if you take it out and have it rebuilt, then it will take a little bit and you might forget stuff, but you can always use bags to lable stuff.

sounds hella complicated lol, do you know how much it is to rebuild it fully? or a new one? on average
