well i have the hwole 1g moter i just heard from a few ppl that the 2g head flowed better so i thought that it would be the be one to put on
I think it will fit but dont you also have to do something with the cam sensor if i remember correctly they are in a different position

2g head has smaller ports than the 1g head, making it have better velocity, over more volume and slower air speed of the 1g head to my understanding.
Yup. The 2g head is also similar to the EVO head in that sense. Magnus Motorsports showed the difference on their site. A 1G head and EVO head and the EVO head ports were just as small as the 2Gs. The EVO head was opened up a bit more btw.
Take that as it is, I like my 2G head on my 6 bolt.

That's correct, the 2G CAM sensor will have to be replaced with the 1G sensor and the 2G head bolt holes need to be "opened" a tad and that's it.

From my readings on T U N E R S and Talk, the 2G has the best angles when comparing the 1G head to the 2G head. What does that mean? Have someone experienced in boring and someone that knows how to correctly use the angles for velocity and volumetric flow and you've got close to an EVO head...minus the 7 bolt crank.
Here's my thoughts on the 2 heads.
1G head good for large turbos and the 1/4.
2G head good for the smaller turbos and the twisties.
Those would be ideal for a stock head. It's a different story once they are opened up. This is an open ended issue btw, there will always be arguments on both sides...mine is on the 2g head side
