i got an eclipse 92. there are several problems with this car. the 3rd and 4rth gear doesnt work and someone told me its the gear linkage or sumthing. also it wont pass smogg and it always smells like gas kinda or something when im driving and i need it to work cuz of my son i really need to know what the problems are with this car its a decent car that if i get running great i will love to play with it. If its possible can any one help me out on telling me what these problems are and how to fix them and how much they would cost to fix? any body PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

Take it to a mechanic that does free diagnosis, those problems could be from many things.

 

i have they said they couldnt have helped plus i wanna doit my self to learn i was only asking to get some advice on where to look and what to check wat u posted wasnt very helpful
