idle problem

Default idle problem

Well my car has a rough idle i changed the spark plugs and it didnt do anygood so what if i change the spark plug wires i did notice there all taped up but would should i do?

Have you tried to adjust your idle? If not adjust the BISS screw (I am assuming a NT has one).

it idles at 700 rpm but its rough but other then that car runs great, so it wouldnt be spark plug wires

i had the same problem for a while then i did a comresion test and it turns out that there where some bent valves and it was only runing on two cilenders so do a compresion test

if my car had loss of compresion or bent vavles it wouldnt beable to burn the tires all the way up into 2nd gear and be as fast as it is

Butt dyno is not a mechanics tool. Start somewhere and go from there. Do a compression check and if it turns out ok, check that off your list and go forward with the next.

why would it have a compression loss the motor is under 80k and has been taken care of, i mean i know its not a compression loss or bent vavles i know how a car acts when it has bent vavles or a compression loss, i just want to know would spark plug wires or dirty injectors be the problem

They are a possibility, but I would think you would be having problems at higher RPM'sif not more. Since you could not get enough spark or fuel.

well i know it may sound stupid but my car didnt seem like it had any problems untill i checked it my car only had 95k ok it when it happened

wow ok i must be saying the wrong thing to make u guys think i have a blown motor or w/e its stays at 700rpm i just thing its a LITTLE rough idle ONCE in a while and i was just asked if i changed the plug wires would it help, there is nothing wrong with my motor its been done checked before i got it
