Default intake piping?

Will a "cold air intake" kit for a 2g fit on a 1g? if not, why?

i dont believe it will because the MAF sensor is different and has a different end. Unless you plan on going to a 2g MAF then you would need to get one specific to a 1g. Someone correct me if im wrong

in looking on ebay, i dont see any listings for 1G turbo model CAIs...

the MAFS always seems to find a way to be a pain in the ***..

LOL indeed they do.

They didnt actually make one for the 1gs. All you need is to hack up the stock air filter can because its really restrictive.. and then put on a K&N and your good to go

by "hack up" the air box, what exactly will i be doing? cutting as much metal away as possible, leaving just enough to serve as a supporting bracket?
