it will easily last you till 150k as long as you do simple maintenace. But my question is, is it a turbo model because i know that in the 1g eclipse's sometimes the GS was a turbo model. In which case the car is gonna be faster than woody spec'd

First off you can't go by the 1/4 times listed in mags or even on dealer charts and whatnot. Times are almost as reliant on you as a driver as they are the specs of the car itself. Also your times will be affected by what's been done to the car previously. Was it beat to **** or babbied?

As for lasting... You're at 90K miles right now correct? CHANGE YOR TIMING BELT NOW!!! Timing belt's are supposed to be changed around 80-90K miles. I've seen them run till 110 and whatnot but don't risk it in this car. Also you paid $600 for it and JUST got the car. Change the air filter, fuel filter, and get the oil changed. Maybe even an oil system cleaner would be a good idea. With proper care and maintenance ANY car will last WELL into the 100 of thousands of miles. I worked for a shop where a '99 Neon was a regular customer and it had over 300K miles on the car. Ran like a top (Except for the problems caused by accidents it was a driving school's student vehicle). So that should say SOMETHING for regular maintenance.

Could be but either way 80 is a good time to replace it if it can't be proven that it was done already. If she runs still then let's keep her there.
