Default just starting the tuning...intake & exhaust

I picked up a 91 tsi and i'm finally going to be able to start putting things into it. I was looking at the HKS intake cone and was wondering if i should modify the airbox or if there are better alternatives out there for intake. As for exhaust i was looking at some Buschur 3" cat-back to start with. Are these solid choices for starters?

intakes are nothng special really. its just a pipe and filter.. I like Injen personally but its a turbo car intake isnt much of a mod so IMO dont spend alot on an intake.

BR exhaust is good. and echaust is the one thing you get what you pay for most of the time. and can be vital to the power made

the intake for now i would suggest just getting an adapter plate for the MAF and then a cone filter. That will let it breathe alittle better than the stock air box and you not spending the money on it yet. Later on you can always get a hardpipe
