Learning about the Eclipse
To the people in this forum: I am having a big problem with overheating in my 1g eclipse gs. Head gasket is not an issue, replaced the radiator, new radiator cap, and new upper thermostat housing. Why do I still overheat after about 10 laps of racing? Do I need a Fluidyne racing radiator? Can anyone help me?
How do you tell if you have a bad strut? I think I have a bad left front strut since the car leans that way while just sitting there. The boot around the shaft is very loose.
Is it possible to upgrade from a 2.0 nonturbo to a 2.0 turbo without switching engines??? How would I do that??
Hope someone can help. I am the only one that works on the car and it is getting very frustrating and I am about to call it quits.

Maybe you just have a bad temp sensor.
If you have a bad strut then every time you go over a bump it will bang loudly. If it is maybe a joint then to check that is shake the tire while parked and youll hear a knocking.
Yes it is possible to turbo the 420a motor. There are plenty of people who have done it. These people are one of the leaders in it.
