ok so my 92 gsx does have hella miles but its ok. i have Intake,MBC,Straight Pipe, exhaust mani, optimal battery. well i want to know, what it takes to beat, a 97 540i BMW, and a 740i BMW, both are driven by two cousins, that says anything i can throw at it, will lose to it. well what else i would need,

 

If you have a manifold, and a stright pipe I assume you have a full exaust, in that case I would say some injcetors (550's-650's) safcII, wideband, k&n drop in filter, cut the stock air box mod, and pump up the boost. The 14b had been known to get cars into low 12's. if you wnat more performance you can always get a fmic, thats would help alot. Also some sticky tires so you can launch good. That should leave you sitting pretty for under 2g. If you wanted to get crazy I would recomend getting a new clutch and a new turbo but thats very costly.

 

those BMW's really are not all that quick....there tanks lol. They produce some good hp but the weight holds them back. They're ment to be luxary cars not street racers soooo with every thing you have you should be fine. I say just get a turn your boost up to about 16-17 psi w/a good launch at 5k with that GSX and youll be fine. If you have some $$$ to spend you could always get the 650cc injectors and a 190lph fuel pump and max that 14b out and then youll really kill them. Then you can laugh at your cousins cause they paid mad $$$ money for a slow car.

 

Just turn up the boost a bit and you should hold your own with them. I raced my friends bmw 328 w/ my stock 93 tsi and he was only a 1/2 car length in front of me at like 90 mph.
