O2 Sensor.
1990 Eclipse GSX, I'm having issues finding the O2 sensor for the exaust. Someone told me that it was on the downpipe but I can't seem to find it to replace it. Anyone have any idea where I should look.

RE: O2 Sensor.
Its on the o2 housing, hense o2 housing lol. Its right below the turbo, drivers side.

RE: O2 Sensor.
I have replaced that O2 Sensor already but someone told me there was another one on the down pipe. I know they are suppose to have 2 O2 sensors.
The problem being is I will be driving and the engine will start bogging. So I have replaced the one you mentioned and still need to replace the 2nd one. |
RE: O2 Sensor.
how do you know its the o2 sensor. It could have something to do with a boost leak, or a ignition issue. But the second one should be on the exhaust after the cat.

RE: O2 Sensor.
its a 90 so there is only 1 o2 sensor, when your driving, does it bog at a certain rpm level.

RE: O2 Sensor.
Thanks guys, Once I get home I will check it out and let you know what happens.

RE: O2 Sensor.
Well last night I crused by the all night Auto Zone and got the stuff to make a test kit for the boost leak. So hopefully tonight I will beable to figure out exactly what the problem is. Stupid Epoxy sets so slow ><
