Default take apart again

OMG i think i have to take this whole damn thing apart again.[:@][:@][:'(][sm=chairshot.gif][sm=headbang.gif]. im thinking either A) the TOB is not on correctly or B) the TOB i got isnt any good, i going to put my old one back on because it isnt really old, it is just used, i just put it on not too long ago. Is there any other reason why like.. say i puch down the clutch, put it in first, then start it, but keep the clutch down, it trys to pull away like i dont have the clutch down?
thanx again

i'm trying really hard to understand,

Did you by any chance open the system and require bleeding? maybe you blew out the slave cylinder?

when the pedal goes down, but not up, theirs air in the system and you need to bleed?

try edditing what you just wrote, because i cant understand it, i mean no offence, were trying to help

Gus

yea, i bled it enough today that i had to fill the resivour twice, and the slave clyinder isnt leaking so it should be OK...the pedal does come back up when i push it down, there is just ALOT of playroom before it engages when i push it down

you can adjust the play by the long screw behind the clutch pedal. if you mess around with the bolts down there, you can adjust the grab point to wherever you want it

dumbass step dad drove it with a bad clutch, so he had to redline it for it to go anywhere and he drove it for about 10mins.. that spun a rod bearing.. i told him not to drive it or it will blow(after we fixed the clutch) because i heard the horrible rattle, but he did anyway.. now its blown and i have no money to fix it and cant get a job because i dont have a car and eveything too far away to walk
