So Ive heard that theres a 420a running high 13s with a 7psi boost? Any truth to this? Ive never worked on a 420a really, so Im unsure exactly of thier powerbands and abilities etc. Any estimates from people?

 

i don't see it happening on only 7lbs unles it's got like 10:1 compression pistons w/ race gas, fully built head and a lot of weight dropped.. they run a high 16 from the factory, mid 16 if it's a good driver.

yea 3 and change seconds is not exaclty a walk in the park or chump change to pull off on a 420a... i don't see it happening on 7lbs unles it's some mamonth turbo that's stroked all to hell and light as can be. or used a nitrous shot to spool something like a gt35r to 7lbs... that might be possible but... i don't see it.

With enough money stuck into it, it might break under 14... But not 2 many out there that are pushing enough power to do that..

 

huh? on a turbo yea they are. I would expect that car to probably be running in the 14's though. I cant see it running 13's on 7psi
