Default 1995 Eclipse GS NA Manual Shift Issue

So i pull up to a stop sign. Wait. Shift to first. Let the clutch out... a slight 'bump' is felt... no movement from the car. Pull out of first, let the clutch out, push it in again, shift back to first. Let the clutch out. Car wont move.... car is running...

With the clutch engaged or not, I can shift through every gear. The transmission feels great. The clutch feels great. The Throwout arm is moving as it should. Still the car will not move in ANY gear.

Any ideas on where to start before I get this thing completely tore down and am still stumped?

Most everyone I have talked to has said that it is probably the clutch itself, but it seems that a broen clutch would be engaged and not allow shifing while the car is running....

PLEASE help. My baby is broken and I need my daily driver!

Tre

that same thing happened to me on a toyota truck I had once, it let me shift through ALL the gears as you said (not moving). I replaced the clutch, worked fine untill I sold it.

check the slave clutch cylinder.. or the master cylinder but that would be more of the presure of the clutch..btw hows the pressure on it. loose or fine?
