Default Bad TCU-Need solenoid wiring & shift pattern to make a shift box

My tranny is dropping into failsafe mode after several minutes so I'm going with a bad TCU as the culprit. Trying to find a reputable shop to work on these things is another matter entirely. I've got a few I'm looking in to.

Meantime...I can get it going by making a manual 2 switch shift box...BUT I need the shift pattern.

I found wiring and shift patterns online for the 1g but I don't think its the same for a 2g. According to the 1g pattern I found online....both solenoids off should be 1st gear and I just drove my 2g around the block with no TCU computer in 2nd gear. No computer should = no power to either solenoid...unless the EATX relay is supplying power to solenoid A when the TCU is removed as part of failsafe mode...? Hmmm....anyone know about that?

Either way I could use the wiring and A B solenoid pattern for the 2g so I know how to shift the thing.

Also anyone know if its safe to use a relay to engage the lockup converter at the same time as 3rd and leave it on for 4th as well? I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Thanks - Dave
