i got 01 galant gtz and check engine came out and the car doesnt wanna move...cant shift from P to other gears ( yea is automatic trany ) and i checked the code and it says is shift solenoid "d"...what it could be ??? can u plz help me...

Not that I have tons of trans experience but I'd have to say it's probably the item that assists in changing the gears... Possibly a loose wire on the trans. If you can get a jack and get whatever side he trans is on jacked up look all over on the trans and under it for any electrical connectors loose and if they ARE loose clean the contacts before putting them back together.
