anyone ever replace the tcc shift solenoid in an auto trans?

I need to replace the torque converter clutch shift solenoid in my 97 auto trans. Anyone done this? is it in the valve body or outside of the trans? easy or hard job?

remove the valve body and they are bolted to the valve body
