New guy here, have some problems with a mirage I bought today. It flairs up (rev's up) on the first to second shift, warm or cold doesn't mater. Also does it on all other shifts, but not as bad as the 1st to second.
Iv tried a little research, but I'm in the middle of swapping a lsx in to my 95 Chevy pickup, and my brain and "one track mind" can only do so much at once. If any one could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome I apretiat it. thanks

 

Just found a "ordeal" on wiki that the computer controls the shifts based on driving habits in the first 500 miles of driving, well I'm also having a problem with every thing (trip od and radio) resetting after the car is turned off. Apperently the ecu is reset after 30 minutes of "no power" and obviously the car isn't getting a continuous 12v source for some odd reason. Any one have any input on that problem?

 

when was the last time you changed the transmission fluid and filter ????
