1996 eclipse stalling. What could it be?
80K miles on my 1996 mitsubishi eclipse non-turbo 2.0. Car tends to stall at lights/stop signs/etc... or if im making a hard slow turn. What i have done to the car was change the timing belt (problem occoured before this was done) water pump, idle air control valve, temp sensor, fuel pump and filter, spark plugs and wires, distributor, thermostat and upper water hose.
I went to the dealership with my stalling problem and what they did was increase the idle via a computer but that didnt help. As a matter of fact when i replaced the idle adjustment valve the idle raced to 2K rpm so then i had to manualy lower it via the throttle line adjustment nuts. It now idles normaly and the problem is not as bad, however, it stalled on me as i put it into gear and reversed with the a/c on. The next day it stalled withought the a/c on as i made a hard u turn. Im not certain what to do at this point. The ecu brings up no codes nore does the check engine light illuminate. What else should i check/replace?
Thanx in advance for any info given.

the o2 sensor is most likely the problem esp if u dont know when it was changed or if it was ever. The sensor gets clogged and it cant tell the engine what air/fuel mix the car is running correctly
It is NOT a bad o2 sensor. All that will do is give you ****ty MPG and throw a check engine light.
What im guessing is a bad ground of some kind. Check the battery terminals and check the ground on the alternator. Check all of them! Then get your alternator checked for its voltage output and get your battery tested.

. In any case, Thanx again in advance. Ill let u know what i find.
That is what i would have said (boost or vac leak) but because he specifies that it does this under cornering implys that it is suffering from a drainage of power.
In all fairness my brothers lotus stalls out when its cold with the A/C on. So its really not that uncommon.... but that was when you JUST started it without any gas and it would start then die.
The ground points i dont know specifically... but basically it will be right on the negative terminal of the alternator.
I hope you know that im just throwing this out there. Im purely throwing this out because it sounds most logical from what you describe. If all the grounds check out, my suggestion would be to buy a multi ground wire kit. Basically its a big circular thing that sits on the negative terminal of the battery and has loads of cables branching off connecting to the frame and various other things. Super super simple to install.

I ran no rear o2 on my Evo and it wouldnt idle sebba when I had open Downpipe. Just so you know without the rrear o2 my idle was all over the place and the car would not idle I had to hold the gas down. Got my exhaust done and boom it worked
