Default 1998 2.4L Pullies or Cam gears??

Anybody know where I can get some pullies or cam gears for the 2.4L engine in a 1998 eclipse spyder?? I know its not really a performance engine but they must make somethin for it. At lest that is what I was told anyway. Any information about that engine or parts would help?? thanks

Ehhh, thanks anyway, I just bought this car to get back and forth to work. I have a 2000 Gt Mustang thats has plenty of stuff for performance I just wanted a few bolt ons for the eclipse for fun, never had an import before, feels like a go-cart but its fun. If you find anything thats good for performance let me know. Oh also do you have any problems with the top??? Ever thought about dissconnecting the motors and doing it by hand?

I'm in the same boat you are, I've always been a V-8 guy and this is my first real import that I've done anything to but it's def fun. I never even realized until the other day the spiders had a different engine, leave it to mitsu to do something like that, except honda and everyone else does it too. The mustang used to same engine block from 1979-1995, how's that for availability of parts.

Yeah I know what you mean, I can't find a dang thing for this eclipse, If I do looks there is an endless supply of stuff i can do performance is on the down hill for this engine, all the guy at the parts store siad was that the 2.4 is not a performance engine. Oh well. I'll just save the money for my stang I guess.

So the galant has the same 2.4L motor? Should I just look for galant parts or is not everything matching??

If it's the same engine I think you'd be alright with things like cam gears but if you want a cold air intake or something I doubt they'd fit both.
