Ok, i'm a newb. I honestly don't know what these mean or the differances between the three. If someone is really bored and would like to break it down for me, i would be more than happy

 

The G that you are asking about is the generation, the 1g is the 1990 to 1994, the 2g is the 1995 to 99, the 3g is the 2000 to 2005, if you want to go one more, the 2006 to ? is the 4g. It is just a way of keeping track of the cars since all of the generations have different problems and changes.
