Default 1st to 2nd gear!!!

just wondering. when you shift from 1st to 2nd. what rpm will your shifter go completely into 2nd gear starting from 1st after you hit the clutch and drop some rpm? mine is like shift at 5500-6000 rpm at 1st gear and it will only go completely into 2nd gear when rpm already dropped at 4000 rpm & below. its like it wouldnt go in at high rpm. doesnt happen at 3rd,4th,5th.

What about you?
What kind of car and tranny do you have?

I have a 99 gst with xact flywheel and act 2100.

thats a weird question. it al depends on the trannys gearing, the kind of car you have, how fast you shift, your redline. why do you want to know? btw is drops lower in 2nd than in 3r,4th, and 5th because 1st gear is a really short gear, the rest are taller. just accept it

mine engages in 2nd gear at any rpm i do not have to let it drop to 4k before shifting into 2nd.

I dont htink this is what he ment or is looking for i think he means he cannot shift into 2nd until his rpms drop to 4k not that when he shifts into 2 it al of the sudden drops.
