Default 2.0 or 2.4?

I need to find out whether I have a 2.0 or 2.4 engine for my 1997 eclipse spider gs. I tried looking under the hood, but I see nothing that indicates one way or the other. Could anyone help me determine where I can look to find this out. The manual would be a great place to look, but I bought it used, so no manual was included. Your help is much appreciated.

im pretty sure the 97 spider came with a 2.4 litter so thats what you should have. Unless you have the turbo model the gs-t. So doyou have a gs or gs-t?

The model is ECLPSSPYGS, so I would assume that means GS and not GS-T, but I may be wrong. Thanks man.

I owned a '97 Spyder GS for 3 years and like bestwiseguy and others said, it is a 2.4 L 4g64 motor. A way to tell is when you open your hood, look for a "white sticker" that says "catalyst" on it and somewhere usually toward the bottom of this sticker it'll tell you the motor size and this goes for any car out there.
